The parade begins in the city center with colorful costumes, lively music, and We are thrilled to announce that the theme for this year’s Sligo St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2025 will be “Queen Maeve”. Queen Maeve, the legendary warrior queen of Connacht, is a central figure in Irish mythology and has deep historical connections to County Sligo. This year’s Sligo St. Patrick’s Festival is offering four days of fun-filled festivities for everyone. The parade will start at Mail Coach Road at 12pm on Monday, 17 th March and will wind through the streets of Sligo, including Temple St, Wine St, Quay St, O’Connell St, Grattan St, and Sligo. 17 March. 12pm – The Sligo Town Parade Starts at Mail Coach Road through town and finishes at Pearse Road. 1.00pm – Enniscrone. 2.00pm – Grange. 3.00pm – Easkey. 3.30pm – Ballymote. 4.30pm – Gurteen. 4.30pm – Aclare – to be confirmed. The tour departs from the Sligo BID Tourist Office at 11am on Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th, and Monday 17th. There's an additional 4pm tour on Monday 17th for those who prefer an afternoon outing.
